1. கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள்; நம்முடைய தேவனைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுகிறது நல்லது, துதித்தலே இன்பமும் ஏற்றதுமாயிருக்கிறது.

1. Praise you the LORD: for it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

2. கர்த்தர் எருசலேமைக் கட்டுகிறார்; துரத்துண்ட இஸ்ரவேலரைக் கூட்டிச் சேர்க்கிறார்.

2. The LORD does build up Jerusalem: he gathers together the outcasts of Israel.

3. இருதயம் நொறுங்குண்டவர்களைக் குணமாக்குகிறார், அவர்களுடைய காயங்களைக் கட்டுகிறார்.

3. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

4. அவர் நட்சத்திரங்களின் இலக்கத்தை எண்ணி, அவைகளுக்கெல்லாம் பேரிட்டு அழைக்கிறார்.

4. He tells the number of the stars; he calls them all by their names.

5. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

6. The LORD lifts up the meek: he casts the wicked down to the ground.

7. கர்த்தரைத் துதியுடன் பாடிக்கொண்டாடுங்கள்; நம்முடைய தேவனைச் சுரமண்டலத்தால் கீர்த்தனம் பண்ணுங்கள்.

7. Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise on the harp to our God:

11. The LORD takes pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

12. Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise your God, O Zion.

13. For he has strengthened the bars of your gates; he has blessed your children within you.

14. அவர் உன் எல்லைகளைச் சமாதானமுள்ளவைகளாக்கி, உசிதமான கோதுமையினால் உன்னைத் திருப்தியாக்குகிறார்.

14. He makes peace in your borders, and fills you with the finest of the wheat.

15. அவர் தமது வார்த்தையைப் பூமியிலே அனுப்புகிறார்; அவருடைய சொல் மகா தீவிரமாய்ச் செல்லுகிறது.

15. He sends forth his commandment on earth: his word runs very swiftly.

16. பஞ்சைப்போல் உறைந்த மழையைத் தருகிறார்; சாம்பலைப்போல உறைந்த பனியைத் தூவுகிறார்.

16. He gives snow like wool: he scatters the hoarfrost like ashes.

17. அவர் தமது கல்மழையைத் துணிக்கைகளாக அனுப்புகிறார்; அவருடைய குளிருக்கு முன்பாக நிற்பவன் யார்?

17. He casts forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

18. அவர் தமது வார்த்தையை அனுப்பி, அவைகளை உருகப்பண்ணுகிறார்; தமது காற்றை வீசும்படி செய்ய, தண்ணீர்கள் ஓடும்.
