1. கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள்; நம்முடைய தேவனைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுகிறது நல்லது, துதித்தலே இன்பமும் ஏற்றதுமாயிருக்கிறது.

1. O prayse the LORDE, for it is a good thinge to synge prayses vnto or God: yee a ioyfull and pleasaunt thinge is it to be thankfull.

2. கர்த்தர் எருசலேமைக் கட்டுகிறார்; துரத்துண்ட இஸ்ரவேலரைக் கூட்டிச் சேர்க்கிறார்.

2. The LORDE shal buylde vp Ierusale, & gather together ye outcastes of Israel.

3. இருதயம் நொறுங்குண்டவர்களைக் குணமாக்குகிறார், அவர்களுடைய காயங்களைக் கட்டுகிறார்.

3. He healeth the contrite in herte, and byndeth vp their woundes.

4. அவர் நட்சத்திரங்களின் இலக்கத்தை எண்ணி, அவைகளுக்கெல்லாம் பேரிட்டு அழைக்கிறார்.

4. He telleth the nombre of the starres, and calleth them all by their names.

5. நம்முடைய ஆண்டவர் பெரியவரும் மகா பெலமுள்ளவருமாயிருக்கிறார்; அவருடைய அறிவு அளவில்லாதது.

5. Greate is or LORDE, and greate is his power, yee his wy?dome is infinite.

6. கர்த்தர் சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்களை உயர்த்துகிறார்; துன்மார்க்கரைத் தரைமட்டும் தாழ்த்துகிறார்.

6. The LORDE setteth vp ye meke, & bryngeth ye vngodly downe to ye groude

7. கர்த்தரைத் துதியுடன் பாடிக்கொண்டாடுங்கள்; நம்முடைய தேவனைச் சுரமண்டலத்தால் கீர்த்தனம் பண்ணுங்கள்.

7. O synge vnto ye LORDE wt thankesgeuynge, synge prayses vpo ye harpe vnto or God.

8. அவர் வானத்தை மேகங்களால் மூடி, பூமிக்கு மழையை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தி, மலைகளில் புல்லை முளைப்பிக்கிறார்.

8. Which couereth ye heauen wt cloudes, prepareth rayne for ye earth, & maketh ye grasse to growe vpon the mountaynes.

9. அவர் மிருகஜீவன்களுக்கும் கூப்பிடுகிற காக்கைக் குஞ்சுகளுக்கும் ஆகாரங்கொடுக்கிறார்.

9. Which geueth foder vnto ye catell, & fedeth ye yonge rauens yt call vpo him.

10. அவர் குதிரையின் பலத்தில் விருப்பமாயிரார்; வீரனுடைய கால்களில் பிரியப்படார்.

10. He hath no pleasure in the strength of an horse, nether delyteth he in eny mas legges.

11. தமக்குப் பயந்து, தமது கிருபைக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்கள்மேல் கர்த்தர் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறார்.

11. But the LORDES delyte is in them that feare him, and put their trust in his mercy.

12. எருசலேமே, கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரி; சீயோனே, உன் தேவனைத் துதி.

12. Prayse ye LORDE o Ierusale, prayse yi God o Sion.

13. அவர் உன் வாசல்களின் தாழ்ப்பாள்களைப் பலப்படுத்தி, உன்னிடத்திலுள்ள உன் பிள்ளைகளை ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார்.

13. For he maketh fast ye barres of yi gates, & blesseth yi childre within ye.

14. அவர் உன் எல்லைகளைச் சமாதானமுள்ளவைகளாக்கி, உசிதமான கோதுமையினால் உன்னைத் திருப்தியாக்குகிறார்.

14. He maketh peace in yi borders, & fylleth ye with ye flor of wheate.

15. அவர் தமது வார்த்தையைப் பூமியிலே அனுப்புகிறார்; அவருடைய சொல் மகா தீவிரமாய்ச் செல்லுகிறது.

15. He sendeth forth his comaundemet vpo earth, his worde runeth swiftly.

16. பஞ்சைப்போல் உறைந்த மழையைத் தருகிறார்; சாம்பலைப்போல உறைந்த பனியைத் தூவுகிறார்.

16. He geueth snowe like woll, & scatereth ye horefrost like ashes.

17. அவர் தமது கல்மழையைத் துணிக்கைகளாக அனுப்புகிறார்; அவருடைய குளிருக்கு முன்பாக நிற்பவன் யார்?

17. He casteth forth his yse like morsels, who is able to abyde his frost?

18. அவர் தமது வார்த்தையை அனுப்பி, அவைகளை உருகப்பண்ணுகிறார்; தமது காற்றை வீசும்படி செய்ய, தண்ணீர்கள் ஓடும்.

19. யாக்கோபுக்குத் தம்முடைய வசனங்களையும், இஸ்ரவேலுக்குத் தமது பிரமாணங்களையும் தமது நியாயங்களையும் அறிவிக்கிறார்.

19. He sheweth his worde vnto Iacob, his statutes & ordinaunces vnto Israel.

20. அவர் வேறே எந்த ஜாதிக்கும் இப்படிச் செய்ததில்லை; அவருடைய நியாயங்களை அறியாமற் போகிறார்கள். அல்லேலூயா.
