1. அல்லேலூயா, கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைத் துதியுங்கள்; கர்த்தரின் ஊழியக்காரரே, துதியுங்கள்.

1. Alleluia. Praise the name of the Lord; praise the Lord, [you His] servants,

2. கர்த்தருடைய வீட்டிலும், நமது தேவனுடைய ஆலயப்பிராகாரங்களிலும் நிற்கிறவர்களே, கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள்.

2. who stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.

3. கர்த்தர் நல்லவர்; அவருடைய நாமத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள்; அது இன்பமானது.

3. Praise the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praises to His name; for [it is] good.

4. கர்த்தர் யாக்கோபைத் தமக்காகவும், இஸ்ரவேலைத் தமக்குச் சொந்தமாகவும் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்.

4. For the Lord has chosen Jacob for Himself, [and] Israel for His peculiar treasure.

5. கர்த்தர் பெரியவர் என்றும், நம்முடைய ஆண்டவர் எல்லா தேவர்களுக்கும் மேலானவர் என்றும் நான் அறிவேன்.

5. For I know that the Lord is great, and our Lord is above all gods;

6. வானத்திலும் பூமியிலும், சமுத்திரங்களிலும், எல்லா ஆழங்களிலும், கர்த்தர் தமக்குச் சித்தமானதையெல்லாம் செய்கிறார்.

6. all that the Lord willed, He did in heaven, and on the earth, in the sea, and in all the deep.

7. அவர் பூமியின் கடையாந்தரங்களிலிருந்து மேகங்களை எழும்பப்பண்ணி, மழையுடன் மின்னலையும் உண்டாக்கி, காற்றைத் தமது பண்டசாலைகளிலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணுகிறார்.

7. Who brings up clouds from the extremity of the earth; He has made lightnings for the rain; He brings [the] winds out of His treasures.

8. அவர் எகிப்திலே மனுஷருடைய தலைப்பிள்ளைகளையும் மிருகத்தின் தலையீற்றுகளையும் அடித்தார்.

8. Who struck the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.

9. எகிப்துதேசமே, உன் நடுவில் பார்வோன்மேலும் அவனுடைய எல்லா ஊழியக்காரர்மேலும் அடையாளங்களையும் அற்புதங்களையும் அனுப்பினார்.

9. He sent signs and wonders into the midst of you, O Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his servants.

10. அவர் அநேகம் ஜாதிகளை அடித்து, பலத்த ராஜாக்களைக் கொன்று;

10. Who struck many nations, and slew mighty kings;

11. எமோரியரின் ராஜாவாகிய சீகோனையும், பாசானின் ராஜாவாகிய ஓகையும், கானானின் சகல ராஜ்யங்களையும் அழித்து,

11. Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan,

12. அவர்கள் தேசத்தைத் தம்முடைய ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்தார்.

12. and gave their land [for] an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel His people.

13. கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய நாமம் என்றைக்குமுள்ளது; கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய பிரஸ்தாபம் தலைமுறை தலைமுறைக்கும் இருக்கும்.

13. O Lord, Your name [endures] forever, and Your memorial to all generations.

14. கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தின் நியாயத்தை விசாரித்து, தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரர்மேல் பரிதாபப்படுவார்.

14. For the Lord shall judge His people, and comfort Himself concerning His servants.

15. அஞ்ஞானிகளுடைய விக்கிரகங்கள் வெள்ளியும் பொன்னும், மனுஷருடைய கைவேலையுமாயிருக்கிறது.

15. The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the works of men's hands.

16. அவைகளுக்கு வாயிருந்தும் பேசாது, அவைகளுக்குக் கண்களிருந்தும் காணாது.

16. They have a mouth, but they cannot speak; they have eyes, but they cannot see;

17. அவைகளுக்குக் காதுகளிருந்தும் கேளாது, அவைகளுடைய வாயிலே சுவாசமுமில்லை.

17. they have ears, but they cannot hear; for there is no breath in their mouth.

18. அவைகளைப் பண்ணுகிறவர்களும், அவைகளை நம்புகிறவர்கள் யாவரும், அவைகளைப்போல் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

18. Let those who make them be made like them; and all those who trust in them.

19. இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தாரே, கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரியுங்கள்; ஆரோன் குடும்பத்தாரே, கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரியுங்கள்.

19. O house of Israel, bless the Lord: O house of Aaron, bless the Lord:

20. லேவி குடும்பத்தாரே, கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரியுங்கள்; கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களே, கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரியுங்கள்.

20. O house of Levi, bless the Lord: you that fear the Lord, bless the Lord.

21. எருசலேமில் வாசம்பண்ணுகிற கர்த்தருக்கு சீயோனிலிருந்து ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக. அல்லேலூயா.

21. Blessed in Zion is the Lord, who dwells in Jerusalem.
