1. அல்லேலூயா, கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைத் துதியுங்கள்; கர்த்தரின் ஊழியக்காரரே, துதியுங்கள்.

1. Hallelujah! Praise the name of GOD, praise the works of GOD.

2. கர்த்தருடைய வீட்டிலும், நமது தேவனுடைய ஆலயப்பிராகாரங்களிலும் நிற்கிறவர்களே, கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள்.

2. All you priests on duty in GOD's temple, serving in the sacred halls of our God,

3. கர்த்தர் நல்லவர்; அவருடைய நாமத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள்; அது இன்பமானது.

3. Shout 'Hallelujah!' because GOD's so good, sing anthems to his beautiful name.

4. கர்த்தர் யாக்கோபைத் தமக்காகவும், இஸ்ரவேலைத் தமக்குச் சொந்தமாகவும் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்.

4. And why? Because GOD chose Jacob, embraced Israel as a prize possession.

5. கர்த்தர் பெரியவர் என்றும், நம்முடைய ஆண்டவர் எல்லா தேவர்களுக்கும் மேலானவர் என்றும் நான் அறிவேன்.

5. I too give witness to the greatness of GOD, our Lord, high above all other gods.

6. வானத்திலும் பூமியிலும், சமுத்திரங்களிலும், எல்லா ஆழங்களிலும், கர்த்தர் தமக்குச் சித்தமானதையெல்லாம் செய்கிறார்.

6. He does just as he pleases-- however, wherever, whenever.

7. அவர் பூமியின் கடையாந்தரங்களிலிருந்து மேகங்களை எழும்பப்பண்ணி, மழையுடன் மின்னலையும் உண்டாக்கி, காற்றைத் தமது பண்டசாலைகளிலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணுகிறார்.

7. He makes the weather--clouds and thunder, lightning and rain, wind pouring out of the north.

8. அவர் எகிப்திலே மனுஷருடைய தலைப்பிள்ளைகளையும் மிருகத்தின் தலையீற்றுகளையும் அடித்தார்.

8. He struck down the Egyptian firstborn, both human and animal firstborn.

9. எகிப்துதேசமே, உன் நடுவில் பார்வோன்மேலும் அவனுடைய எல்லா ஊழியக்காரர்மேலும் அடையாளங்களையும் அற்புதங்களையும் அனுப்பினார்.

9. He made Egypt sit up and take notice, confronted Pharaoh and his servants with miracles.

10. அவர் அநேகம் ஜாதிகளை அடித்து, பலத்த ராஜாக்களைக் கொன்று;

10. Yes, he struck down great nations, he slew mighty kings--

11. எமோரியரின் ராஜாவாகிய சீகோனையும், பாசானின் ராஜாவாகிய ஓகையும், கானானின் சகல ராஜ்யங்களையும் அழித்து,

11. Sihon king of the Amorites, also Og of Bashan-- every last one of the Canaanite kings!

12. அவர்கள் தேசத்தைத் தம்முடைய ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்தார்.

12. Then he turned their land over to Israel, a gift of good land to his people.

13. கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய நாமம் என்றைக்குமுள்ளது; கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய பிரஸ்தாபம் தலைமுறை தலைமுறைக்கும் இருக்கும்.

13. GOD, your name is eternal, GOD, you'll never be out-of-date.

14. கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தின் நியாயத்தை விசாரித்து, தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரர்மேல் பரிதாபப்படுவார்.

14. GOD stands up for his people, GOD holds the hands of his people.

15. அஞ்ஞானிகளுடைய விக்கிரகங்கள் வெள்ளியும் பொன்னும், மனுஷருடைய கைவேலையுமாயிருக்கிறது.

15. The gods of the godless nations are mere trinkets, made for quick sale in the markets:

16. அவைகளுக்கு வாயிருந்தும் பேசாது, அவைகளுக்குக் கண்களிருந்தும் காணாது.

16. Chiseled mouths that can't talk, painted eyes that can't see,

17. அவைகளுக்குக் காதுகளிருந்தும் கேளாது, அவைகளுடைய வாயிலே சுவாசமுமில்லை.

17. Carved ears that can't hear-- dead wood! cold metal!

18. அவைகளைப் பண்ணுகிறவர்களும், அவைகளை நம்புகிறவர்கள் யாவரும், அவைகளைப்போல் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

18. Those who make and trust them become like them.

19. இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தாரே, கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரியுங்கள்; ஆரோன் குடும்பத்தாரே, கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரியுங்கள்.

19. Family of Israel, bless GOD! Family of Aaron, bless GOD!

20. லேவி குடும்பத்தாரே, கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரியுங்கள்; கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களே, கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரியுங்கள்.

20. Family of Levi, bless GOD! You who fear GOD, bless GOD!

21. எருசலேமில் வாசம்பண்ணுகிற கர்த்தருக்கு சீயோனிலிருந்து ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக. அல்லேலூயா.

21. Oh, blessed be GOD of Zion, First Citizen of Jerusalem! Hallelujah!
